Can anyone identify this guest from the LibDem BBQ?

Yesterday we held the Watford LibDems Summer Party & BBQ. I thought it showed that we had a better skill at choosing dates than Gordon Brown.

As well as a short appearance from Simon Hughes MP, my daughter found a rather colourful guest lurking near the food. She’d even come dressed for the occasion. But can anyone tell me her name?

My guess is that it is the caterpillar of the Sycamore Moth. Be a bit wary because the hairs of caterpillars like this can cause skin irritations.
